Meet Tim, who joins us as the brilliantly eccentric Buddy in We Will Rock You! 👑

Buddy is one of the Bohemians… a free-thinking rebel who remembers a time before Globalsoft took control, when music was real, rock stars were legends and people were free to express themselves. With his quick wit, brilliant one-liners and wonderfully laid-back personality, he brings some of the biggest laughs of the show… but also some of its most heartfelt moments. ❤️

He is certainly no stranger to amateur theatre across the South Wales Valleys, having most recently appeared with CODA in their exceptional production of Dear Evan Hansen! 🤘

Tim also has one of our favourite moments in the entire score… the beautiful “These Are the Days of Our Lives.” 🎶❤️

Funny, nostalgic, eccentric and with plenty of surprises along the way… Buddy is definitely one to watch!

Freddie’s travels continue, and this time he’s been treading the boards with our friends at Blackwood Little Theatre! 🎭❤️

It’s always wonderful to get out into the community and catch up with other local theatre groups who share our passion for keeping live theatre thriving.

We even managed to grab a photo with Neal Elstone, a fantastic supporter of BLT and someone who has also been a huge support to TOS, providing technical support for many of our productions over the years. ❤️👏

Marilyn was the Society’s Accompanist during the 1960s to the mid 1970s and again in the early 1980s. Marilyn was a very talented and kind lady. Our sympathies go to Keith, Christopher and Andrew.

Taking control of Globalsoft as the formidable Killer Queen is Rachel, alongside Jason as her ever-faithful (and frequently long-suffering!) henchman, Khashoggi! 😈🎸

👑 Rachel – Killer Queen

Rachel has been a fantastic addition to the TOS family, and what a way to make her mark! With incredible powerhouse vocals, commanding stage presence and plenty of attitude, she is bringing everything this larger-than-life villain demands.

It has been such a pleasure welcoming new talent into our company, and we cannot WAIT for audiences to hear Rachel unleash those vocals with our live band behind her! 🔥🎤

🕶️ Jason – Khashoggi

For some of our long-standing supporters, Jason might look rather familiar…

We’re absolutely delighted to welcome him back to the TOS stage, 17 years after audiences saw him as our leading man Don in our 2009 production of Summer Holiday! ❤️

This time, he’s traded leading-man charm for the wonderfully sinister Khashoggi — Killer Queen’s right-hand man, tasked with hunting down the Bohemians and making sure nobody threatens Globalsoft’s perfectly controlled world.

We’re thrilled to have Rachel joining our TOS family and equally delighted to see Jason back where he belongs - on the TOS stage! ❤️

Now it’s finally time to reveal what’s next for TOS…

☀️SEPTEMBER 2027 — ANNIE ☀️

We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing Annie to the stage in 2027! We’ve loved having children perform alongside our adult company in the past, and we simply cannot wait to welcome our younger performers back to the TOS stage for this wonderful show. 🐾

🌈SEPTEMBER 2028 — PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT! 🌈

After the huge success of Kinky Boots in 2022, It’s time to get those heels back out! 👠

Big songs, outrageous costumes, plenty of glitter and a whole lot of fabulousness - we cannot WAIT to climb aboard Priscilla and bring this spectacular show to life! 🕺🏻🪩

We couldn’t have chosen two more wonderfully different productions - from the heart, hope and charm of Annie to the colour, comedy and sheer fabulousness of Priscilla. We are so excited for everything these two shows will bring to our society, our performers and our audiences.
