Following the success of our ‘explosive’ EV3 project, the Kia Academy were back to create a product discovery video for the new EV6.

This model is an inspired evolution of the original, so we were tasked with highlighting its new and reimagined features. And what better way to focus on the details than with a motion-control robot?

We took the creative a step further by making the robot a character in the video. The resulting video intentionally blends BTS-style shots of the robot exploring the EV6 with POV footage from its camera.

With just one day in the studio and a high shot count, huge thanks to the team at Light & Distort and all the crew for their help on the shoot - plus the team at Motiv8 for their product expertise.

This clip is a short extract from a longer edit, which is screening on the Kia Academy.
