Many thanks to all those involved in yesterday’s Grafton Regis: 1,000 Years in 100 Minutes - to our amiable and appreciative audience, to our brilliant performers, to everyone who contributed to the excellent post-walk refreshments, to our costume makers, and to everyone else behind the scenes. And thanks also to whoever fixed the weather so that it poured with rain before the walk and not during it!

On Saturday June 20th, Henry VIII will meet several of his queens in Grafton, and will play out his final meeting with Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, the second most powerful man in England. We still have a few places available. Why not join us for an afternoon of history, fun and cakes?

Hi all – it seems like we are invaded with box caterpillars in the Village, so if you have any box hedges check and hopefully you can rescue your box before it becomes too much of a problem.
