A few words from Jay Unwin on the importance of supporting youth music, after one of the supported gig at The Mill.

Jay is a local music promoter doing amazing work with Jamming Station, we’re very lucky to have him and we couldn’t have put this into words better ourselves.

We REALLY need the community’s help to keep the music playing for young musicians in Totnes.
It’s an absolutely vital part of our community, and the work we do does change lives (we’ve seen it!)

Youth Night is back TONIGHT at Jamming Station! 🎤

🎶 We’re incredibly grateful to Devon Music Education Hub for awarding us a grant towards the cost of our band sessions for the next academic year!

This support will help us continue giving young people the chance to make music together, build confidence, develop new skills, and be part of a creative community.

Join Jamming Station Unplugged NEXT WEEK 25-27 August at The Mill, Totnes (Jamming Station HQ)! ⚡️⚡️

Open to all musicians aged 13-17, this is a great opportunity to come together, develop your skills, experiment with rhythm and build towards a relaxed performance for friends and family.

Our unplugged sessions are played at a lower volume so everyone gets a chance to be heard! Those who are noise sensitive may also find this an accessible programme to get involved with, feel free to contact us with any questions about this!

Sessions run 10am-4pm and you can choose to join us for one day or all three, though we recommend the full experience to see your ideas grow within the group.

We welcome all abilities, and you can bring your own instrument or use one of ours. Electric guitars are welcome, they’ll just be “unplugged”! 🎸
