Welcome to Playground Arts. The freedom to explore, co-create and play in a safe space underpins everything we do at Playground Arts. We champion individual expression, inclusive creative collaboration and generous sharing through immersive community arts experiences. We celebrate diversity and differences and we value each individual, their expression of self and the stories they wish to tell. When individuals are free to express themselves in a safe place, co-create with others though play and share their ideas with the world their confidence and self esteem is elevated.They are able to understand themselves and world better and choose the part they want to play in it with purpose. We aspire to create a culture within the South Hams where playful engagement in the arts is recognised as a valuable tool for all ages to participate in physical activeness, inclusive social connections & imaginative co-creation. We hope that our interactions with local communities will be instrumental in inspiring the current and next generation of innovative artists and passionate audiences. We plan to develop a range of accessible immersive and interactive experiences for all ages from 0 -120 years such as workshops, courses, summer schools and performances: all in alignment with our ethos of championing individual expression, inclusive creative collaboration & generous sharing through exploration, co-creation and play. We plan to develop a programme of multi-generational opportunities for creative collaboration and play, engaging and inspiring individuals not only at the earliest stages of their development but extending through all age demographics including the elderly. This mission will further us on our path to manifesting our vision of inspiring the current and next generation of innovative artists and passionate audiences and cultivating a rich culture of immersive arts in the South Hams
