SWISCo will be carrying out planned tree safety works in Cockington Country Park on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 June.

SWISCo will start essential ash tree safety works in Scadson Woods and Cockington Country Park from this month. The Scadson these works will take place Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June. Works will take place in Cockington Country Park Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 June.

Contractor Hi-line will remove diseased ash trees affected by ash dieback to protect visitors.

During this period, temporary path closures or diversions may be in place to allow the works to be carried out safely. The team have worked hard to ensure any disruption will be kept to a minimum, and areas will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so.

Call out for artists/makers all media for our Movie Themed Exhibition.
Running 1 August to Nov. (Work available to deliver mid July) .

Can be any media and theme related to cinema film from props, costume to posters to equipment etc

But regarding 2d entries to add we are not after realistic painted portraits of movie stars, but more imaginative work such as paintings of the actors in film sets, or fantasy posters and collages etc.

This exhibition and trail generates over 8k visitors annually to view the work on show it is extremely successful so get in touch if you would like to be part of it 😊 .

Any age ability welcome as we are a very creative inclusive site.

For those wanting to totally escape the crowds, then you are very welcome to chill here all day for free in our relaxing site, sit in the rose garden or watch the cricket (Sat)🏏 and visit the village too close by.

You will even get to see the odd fly over too! ✈️ 🛩️ 🛬 😊 🌳

We are now half way thorough a roof 🏠 improvement project at sea change studios.

Please can you all support our businesses more than ever at this time, whilst this work is carried out.

The the site is still very much open for business as usual.

You may find one or two studios maybe closed per day whilst their roof work is completed but many others, are open.

The scaffolding route may also alter as we go but the site is very safe.

Access will always be available for our visitors to enter the open studio businesses.
