I was so excited when a friend who I’ve known for a very long time asked me to make his parent’s house as an anniversary gift. This is the house across the road from the house I grew up in and I have so many memories associated with it.

Wreaths!

It took me a while but I’ve finally made some!

3 different sizes - Large (£30) Medium (£20) Miniature (£7)
The miniature are slices of apple and the two larger sizes are slices of cherry.
Let me know if you’d like one in time for Christmas. When they’re gone they’re gone!

Babbacombe

This beach has special significance for us as a family. It became the destination of our daily walk during lockdown and we had so many special times there. We’ve yet to sample the menu at the but the soon-to-be recipient of this commission is a big fan!
The sand in this piece was collected from Babbacombe a couple of days ago. I left plenty for the next person though 👍🏻

A recent commission delivered today for a friends’ brother’s 40th 😊
The base is a lovely slice of eucalyptus and the centre of the trees are the inner part of an acorn.

I’m hoping we can hold on to the current weather as long as possible! Not exactly ‘kite weather’ but you don’t need wind for this little kite to permanently be in flight!
Love this rough piece of driftwood too; perfect for this craggy cliff top 😊

I had so much positive feedback after posting my Christmas wreaths (particularly from my wife!) so I secretly kept this slice aside and adapted it as a birthday gift for her this month.
I’ve tried to keep it relatively neutral in terms of seasons so that it won’t be out of place on the wall all year round.

What do you think? Any other suggestions for ‘wreathy-type’ pieces?

Log pile cottage

One of 7 pieces like this made for .co Christmas market last weekend. It’s a design I’ve used before but I always enjoy recreating it.
Unfortunately, South Devon is not the best place to use a sledge 😔 ⛄️

Wreaths

Something new for Christmas this year and not something I’m likely to repeat because of the very unusual slice of trunk used to make these.
