It's been a quiet day at the gallery today due to the road closures in Topcliffe. However, it did give me chance to finish a new bag! This is a roomy holdall-style bag with shoulder straps, perfect as an overnight bag and a great size bag for holidays.

The bag is made from a woven chenille fabric in blues and greys. The end panels and straps are made from a soft grey moleskin velvet and the base is dark grey faux leather. The flap features a vintage fabric by Makower called "Voyage" which depicts a crowd of people waving off a cruise ship with balloons and ribbons flying through the air. The bag is lined and has three inside pockets. Size: 42cm W x 29cm H x 26cm D. Price £72.

We are open from 10am to 5.30pm tomorrow and 12 to 5.30pm on Sunday.

FRIDAY 19th of JUNE
There are some major road repairs going on in Topcliffe tomorrow, so getting to the gallery by car probably won't be an option. We will be marooned here, so we're going to be open as usual so at least local people can pop in if they want to. None of us are really sure about what is happening with the roads but we'll find out tomorrow!

We will be open Saturday and Sunday as normal.

I've just popped into the gallery to take some photos of some of our current stock. There are four rooms to explore and they're all full!

We'll be open tomorrow from 10am to 5.30pm. We'll also be open on Friday but there are major roadworks in Topcliffe on Friday so perhaps best to avoid Friday if you're coming by car!

This large vintage dish is made of soapstone and is hand decorated with giraffes and a tree. It was made in Kenya and it is £32. (It goes very well with our kitchen tiles if it doesn't sell!)
