We’re in the market for everyone

Since January Chris Tally Evans’ work has been based in Mid Rhondda involving people in the communities of Tonypandy, Trealaw, Penygraig, Clydach and Llwynypia to address and challenge perceptions of disability. Groups who have helped create the artworks are Llwynypia Learning Curve, The Rhondda Sea Cadets, Autism Life, The Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation, Elite Employment Agency. The residency is culminating in a miniature arts centre within a stall in Tonypandy market every Friday throughout July 2018. This participatory contemporary arts residency is curated by Addo Creative as part of the #Fourteen project.
