My name is Ashley and I am a BA graduate with a Fine Art Degree. When doing a commission I ask to be supplied with a contrasted photograph of the subject. This in affect helps me analyse the photograph in detail and get as close to the characteristics as possible. I'm skilled in painting animals and portraits, I paint on canvas and sizes start from A3. The progress of painting and seeing it come to life at the end is the highlight of why I paint in such detail, its hard at times, but worth it. I am so pleased and amazed with myself in all honesty as painting landscape is not my strongest, but I am very happy with the way it turned out. In a loving memory of a friends honeymoon.
