Our grand finale has been cancelled due to weather and this putting the safety of the team at risk especially later on as the forecast is set to change.

WEATHER UPDATE FOR FRIDAY NIGHT, AS OF THURSDAY EVENING!

Here's Jason with the latest weather forecast on River Walk Radio (may we should make our own station!)

But in all seriousness, the rain could put Friday night's event at risk. When you're putting on a large outdoor event, keeping everyone safe has to come first, wet ground, dancing, rain and electrical equipment aren't the dream combinations and it's not fair on our volunteer stewards and security to battle the elements.

We will do a final call on Friday and hope the rain forecast goes away over night!

Here's Jason with the latest weather forecast... well, sort of!

He's been keeping the River Walk team updated as the weather starts to take a bit of a turn so it's only right his forecasts are shared with you all, and suddenly 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 is looking like it might have a few challenges ahead.

So, we've decided to bring you the latest forecast from 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼... and actually.. that definitely has a ring to it! 📻🌦️

With a little cameo from Matt too, Jason might just have discovered his future career as a weather presenter! 🎙️😂

Here's your final weekly rundown with Rayan and Jason!

It's here... the 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 of River Walk Music 2026! After an incredible summer, we're getting ready to bring the season to a spectacular close.

From 𝟳:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺, it's time for our final headline act of the summer 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲! Get ready for one last big live set on the River Walk stage.

Before that, we're kicking things off from 6:00pm, with 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀 taking to the stage from 𝟲:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺 to get the evening underway.

And of course, 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 will all be together in the booth, hosting and DJing throughout the night as we bring the summer to a close.

And just because the sun goes down doesn't mean the party stops! 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺, once the live acts have finished, join us on the River Walk stage side and keep the final night going with the DJs.

✨ 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞'𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗘: 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗟𝗘𝗦! 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦!✨

For our final night, we're asking you to dress to impress! Sequins, glitter, shiny outfits, dresses, suits and tuxedos, bring the glamour and let's fill the riverside with some serious sparkle and pazaz!

We'll also have Marion's Kitchen back serving their famous paella, alongside Nannys Pannys.
