Explore the artworks on display, depicting wild and lonely locations; geographically remote with little modern human impact. Julia finds the effects of changing weather and light, as well as the colours found within these unspoilt landscapes both inspiring and challenging.
Julia was a student of Ray Atkins’ for over a decade, first attending his summer schools in Cornwall. An inspiring teacher, Ray has remained both a mentor and good friend. It was this friendship that led to the well-received Ray Atkins exhibition in our OBS Gallery last year.
