What an unforgettable day at the "Traite de Piano" Summer Concert!

This year’s event was truly huge — 90 performances and a programme that grew into four beautiful hours of music. We’ve really grown into a big, big event, were the level of playing was incredibly high. Every student worked so hard and poured their heart into their performance.
We were honoured to welcome guests from Lithuania, adding even more warmth and inspiration to the day.
A special thank‑you to all the parents — your support, dedication, and involvement make concerts like this possible. Without you, none of this would shine the way it does.
And of course, our wonderful teachers Nicky and Lawrencas — a truly amazing team. Working together, trusting each other, and organising everything side by side is always a joy.
What a celebration of music, community, and growth.

🎶💛See you next year! 💛🎶

In addition to his teaching and performing work, Lawrence serves as the Music Director and organist of Holy Cross Catholic Church and currently at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Greenwich, where he conducts choirs and nurtures young musicians. He is also actively involved in composition, writing music for both church settings and his students.

Why a Parent’s role matters in piano learning?

A child’s musical journey grows stronger when a parent walks beside them. Parents presence, encouragement, and gentle guidance turn daily practice into something meaningful — not a chore, but a rewarding habit that builds confidence and joy.
- Parents help create consistency, making regular practice part of the family rhythm.
- They provide motivation and emotional support, especially on days when progress feels slow.
- A supportive home environment helps children focus, stay organised, and celebrate every step forward.
When parents stay involved — listening, encouraging, and showing interest — children develop stronger skills, higher success rates, and a deeper long‑term commitment to music.
Together, we build not just pianists, but confident, resilient young people who love learning.
