Kent Potters Association, of which I am a member, is currently holding an exhibition of their members pottery at Maidstone Museum until the 30 Oct.
The ceramics on show is an eclectic mix and all the items are you sale.

I have a passion for design and have been experimenting with a swallows, as I have had these acrobatic birds living and breeding nearby. Pictures show completed tiles with swallow design, and tiles prior to final glazing (coloured slip and underglaze colours), together with some of the original concept drawings by myself. Its been a strange time since being in lockdown, now it finally feels as if life is starting to flow again, albeit gradually.

Moving forward, during lockdown myself and Janet kept our creativity going by designing and making pieces. We shall be posting these over the next few days. Firslly starting with this item:

White earthenware tile 20cm x 20cm. Inspired by Scotland with the theme of thistles and heather. Designed and made crafted by Angela Rayner, this tile would make the perfect present for a birthday or celebration piece.

Earthenware clay is excellent at absorbing heating, especially very hot instant heat, so would also be useful in the kitchen.
Price: £30 + p&p. Please DM if interested.
