Ukraine Event tonight Saturday 26th March in the Village Hall - start time 7.30 pm - £4 per person.
This to include cheese and biscuits and nibbles.

There will be an opportunity to make donations to help Ukraine - and there will be Ukrainian ribbon pins on sale.
All proceeds to the cause.

please do try to wear something in yellow and/or blue colours. Or even make up a fancy-dress outfit in one or both of those colours! There will be a prize for the best outfit.

Do come along and have a good time with friends and neighbours - and help a very good cause.

A lot of hard work to completely deep clean the hall and risk Assessments done to ensure we are all safe tonight

I must say it’s looking great and ready for tonight’s bar opening

A big shout out to kris and Jane, a lot of hard work put in to get the hall ready

Please use the rear door ‘fire exit’ nearest the church for entry where we have a hand sanitising station and the contact and tracing booklet.

Please ensure if you are visiting tonight you enter your details incase of any need for nhs test and trace to contact you

We will be doing table service rather than please take a seat and the bar person will bring your drinks to you

Tables and chairs in the hall can be used and have been spaced appropriately to allow for social distancing, with no more than 6 persons at a table if you are in the same support bubble.

HELP KEEP THIS HALL COVID-19 SECURE.
You must not enter if you or anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms.

​If you develop COVID-19 symptoms within 7 days of visiting these premises alert NHS Track and Trace. Alert the hall chairperson or other member of the comittee.

Maintain 2 metres social distancing as far as possible: Please observe the one-way system.

​Use the hand sanitiser provided on entering the premises. Clean your hands often. Soap and paper towels are provided.

VILLAGE HALL

We on the Village Hall Committee hope that are all well and surviving these difficult times.
As the village hall is one of the local community hubs, we on the village hall committee are closely monitoring the situation with regard to re-opening - as part of the phased easing of lock-down measures.

At present we are working closely with ACRE and the Wiltshire Village Hall Association to understand the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) on Village Halls and Community Buildings and the subsequent re-opening conditions.
Once we know more what - and when - the reopening conditions are, we will let you know.

Thank you Tockenham and everyone for a lovely evening celebrating Burns Night, i think you will all agree a great way to pay tribute to the poet’s life and work. It’s also a good excuse to eat, drink and be merry with lots of haggis eating and whisky toasting.

As always we are grateful for the time and effort by all involved to make the Burn’s night an outstanding success and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the collection for the for the Shanti Bhavan children’s project in India, we have yet to total up for this event, the collection on the night alone we collected over £180, once all the receipts are in we will let you know how much our tiny village in Wiltshire has been able to send to help. This will make a difference for children from the city slums and impoverished rural areas of the lowest caste in India, £115 for example would pay for the education of one child for a month

Halloween Quiz - Please do come along to this fun event tonight and test your knowledge!
Doors open at 7.30 for an 8 pm start.
And why not keep to the Halloween theme and come in Fancy Dress? There will be prizes for best adult
and best child's fancy dress.
The quiz will compose of 4 rounds of 20 questions - and there will also be a short quiz for the children.
Prizes for winning teams.
And if you have a left-over pumpkin, please bring it along for decoration.
We do hope to see you there.
