A great show with Alfie Moore tonight. Warm room, warm crowd. Thanks as ever to our band of volunteers and for acts like Alfie who are prepared to step off the beaten track and come to Tiverton.

The popular comedian, broadcaster and former police officer Alfie Moore 19 June with his latest stand-up show, Alfie Moore - Apocalypse Now

Best known as the star of BBC Radio 4's long-running hit series It's A Fair Cop, Alfie has built a national reputation for combining sharp observational comedy with stories drawn from more than 20 years on the police force. His unique blend of humour and real-life experience has earned praise from audiences and critics alike.

In Apocalypse Now, Alfie tackles some of the biggest issues facing modern life, from rising crime and artificial intelligence to culture wars and climate change. With his trademark wit, he asks whether society is heading towards doomsday – and whether a healthy dose of common sense and laughter might help us avoid it.
