That six weeks passed by in a flash, and the one student who was all about wheel throwing has a newfound love of handbuilding. The other who was not keen on throwing has gone off and bought herself a wheel. 😃 I'll take that as a win!
The next Six Week Pottery Course begins on 13th (daytime) and 14th (evening) April.

Join me in my cosy garden studio, on the edge of beautiful Exmoor, to paint and explore the use of silkscreens on a ceramic surface. Create something beautiful which is also very useful, both indoors and out. Keep for yourself or gift it to the garden lover in your life. With Mother's Day fast approaching, this would be something fun to do with your mum or for her ❤

Start the new year off learning and discovering the endless possibilities of clay.... or redisvover a past hobby or forgotten skill. In the comfort of my cosy garden studio, I will guide you through the basics of handbuilding and throwing on the wheel. At the end of of the course you will have several finished pieces that you have made, hand painted (glazed) and fired. This is an ideal course for the absolute beginner and those that may have some prior knowledge of working with clay and need a refresher.

Happy New Year everyone! 🎊2026 is looking good... sun is shining, I've seen my first snowdrops pushing their way up through the soil, and the days are (very) slowly getting longer. 😊
New things coming for Art Jam Studio:

● New WEBSITE underway (old one is currently down)
● 6 weeks POTTERY COURSE (for beginners and improvers) 19/1/26 - 23/2/26
● 1-to-1 WHEEL THROWING sessions
● Continuing to capture those precious baby hands and feet in IMPRINTS and OUTPRINTS... as well as those precious 🐾 prints of our fur babies.
● And, considering a NEW NAME for Art Jam Studio, more in line with where we live. Watch this space. 😀
