In this painting is Nati James a flamenco dancer I met in Seville. I have fond memories of Nati who danced for me without a guitarist, while I drew and photographed her. It was such an energetic and passionate performance. Thank you Nati for your flamenco example which I’ve referred to many times for accurate paintings. Also shown in the painting is Adi who I hope I will meet sometime. This is an Acrylic painting I finished today.

It’s a challenge to do a self portrait especially in watercolour. 😳You have to be disciplined and objective, seeing shapes, colours, putting in the spots blemishes, and not getting hung-up on how you want too be seen. 😱Phew...here it is...fresh out of the studio.
