The Tiverton in Bloom Scarecrow Trail officially starts today! 🌻🎉

We’ve already spotted so many brilliant scarecrows around town, and the creativity, effort and community spirit on display is just fantastic. It’s lovely to see so many local businesses, groups and residents getting involved.

If you’re planning to take part in the trail, there’s an official list of scarecrow locations available from Refurnish and Confluence in town.

Ever wondered how we create this gorgeous bubbly effect? Now’s your chance to have a go yourself!

Join us this summer holiday for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the bubble glazing technique and create your own unique pottery piece to take home after firing ✨

Your ticket includes a bowl to decorate, or you’re welcome to upgrade to a larger item on the day if you’d like.

We’ve added two dates over the summer holidays and spaces are limited, so we’d recommend booking early if you’d like to join us 💙

Not artistic? These might be your new best friend 👀

Our premium laser-cut sponge shapes make it easy to add crisp patterns and designs to your pottery - no steady hand required.

They’re particularly popular with our adult painters and are perfect for creating beautiful mugs, plates, planters and homeware without needing to paint everything freehand ✨

These are just one of the many tools available to use during your session, alongside stencils, carbon paper, dotting tools and plenty of inspiration around the studio. Pottery painting really is for everyone - not just the naturally creative!

A little side note from us 💛 These sponge shapes are precision laser-cut and can be quite delicate, so please handle them with care and avoid pulling them apart. We also have lots of sturdier sponge shapes available for our younger painters.

How cool are these monster pinch pots?! 👹✨

These were created by some of our talented young makers at Home Ed Clay Club and have now had their first firing. We absolutely love all their different expressions and personalities!

Did you know we offer clay experiences at Happy Glaze too? From our Home Ed Clay Club to family clay workshops, adult clay events and beginner-friendly clay sessions, there’s plenty of opportunities to get your hands muddy and make something unique.

Our Home Ed Clay Club runs every other Thursday afternoon, with a session taking place this week. The current beginner course is halfway through, but our PAYG sessions remain open for bookings.

We’ve had some lovely new pottery arrive in the studio this week! ✨

Including some gorgeous new planters 🌿 and jugs (which are always a favourite!) 🤍

If you spot something you absolutely have your heart set on, feel free to pop us a message to reserve it. We can send over a payment link and keep it aside for you until your visit.

As always, our pottery selection changes regularly and stock is often limited, so once a design has gone, it may not come back in for a while!
