What a beautiful setting both visually and acoustically for today's performance at the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival. Truro cathedral, the organisation committee and staff - you were amazing (we wern't to bad either!).

Our next performance will be at the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival (CIMCF) on Saturday 2nd May.

The festival is held in Truro Cathedral, such a wonderful visual and acoustic setting to highlight the very best of choral music.

Tintagel Orpheus Male Voice Choir will appear at 10:00am in Category II, together with Weybridge Male Voice Choir, Oxford Welsh Male Voice Choir, City of Bath Choir, Cirencester Male Voice Choir, Loveny Male Voice Choir, Hampshire and Surrey Hills, Synergy Acapella, Maelstrom and Cowbridge Male Voice Choir.

The event starts at 09:00am, with Category II finishing at 12:00pm.
The competition continues with Category I finishing at 16:00.

Tickets can be purchased from the CIMCF website or on the door on the day.

Wish us luck, last practice tomorrow night at 19:15 !

Tintagel Orpheus Male Voice Choir will be performing with Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir at Bude Methodist Church on Saturday 18th April 2026 at 7pm together with the soloist Annabel Torkah.

Please check the programme, a wonderful selections of songs will be performed on the night.

It's £10 entrance, pay on the door. We look forward to seeing you there.

Our closing set of Stout Hearted Men, Stars I Shall Find and Crazy Little Thing Called Love will get you smiling!

We went to Wadebridge Festival of Music and Speech and just look what we came home with! First in our class! We performed two songs; Stars I Shall Find and a very cheery version of Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love, which got the crowd smiling and tapping their toes.

Tonight Tintagel Orpheus Male Voice Choir will be celebrating St Piran's day by participating in the Wadebridge Festival of Music and Speech at 7:15pm. Some of our members will then make a dash to the Cobweb Inn, Boscastle to join their St Piran's Day Shout for 9pm, celebrating all that is cornish.
