This is how anthropology becomes an instrument of cultural and human, in-human genocide of the ethnic minorities ...not unlike Western appropriation of terms like 'indigenous' or 'shamanic' when all such links have clearly been lost. It's the ignorance, which in itself is neither good nor bad but it's a real machine of destruction when it comes with arrogance and unawareness. The cocktail for destruction. So these absolute twits are saying that we polarise "gender" in New Guinea, a concept that doesn't even exist prior the patrarchalisation of sexuality. And they say we polarise gender because there are still tribes that are in the awareness and contact with the BODY thus aware that different bodies are impacted by and impact the Universal Prana differently. So we need different approaches to achieve the Whole within. Namely men-born people are an expression of partiality and have bodies that need abstention and balancing arts (e.g. martial arts, breathing techniques of various kind, particular spirit-balancing diets etc). Whereas FeMales, Wom(b)en, as the English word already suggests, are expression of the Whole and original carriers of both principles thus need spiritual practices that are holistic and all-inclusive of ALL their inner parts and selves in order to REVEAL the Whole that is already within. There is no polarising at all. In fact there are still tribes like mine in which little boys until puberty are regarded to as Amgu (an all inclusive term that means equally Ancestress, Grandma, Sister, Mother, Daughter, Lover, 'Friend of All') and they stay in the circles of the women with the girls. Also we have men that grow wombs and return into themselves the divine Mother knowledge through the practice of unconditional love and service to Womb Being. Most anthropologists understand nothing of ethnic minorities, and are the cause for cultural genocide, because they are not trained to strip from their language, paradigms, parameters and values before approaching the chiefly Other. The ethnic minorities or individual from the ethnic minorities upon whom they project their assumed paradigms and lenses through which they filter reality and cannot see without. It's just like it happened in China where distorted anthropological interpretations of the Walking Marriage of the Na people (Mo-so or Mosuo Ren). As a consequence of that the Chinese government has attempted to destroy their matriarchal sharing practices and social shamanic structure, erasing and persecuting amongst other things the female shamans and the remnant of the sacral Queen. Whilst an anarchist communist at heart, I am painfully aware of how marxist ideology is unable to understand shamanism and the cult of the Living Goddesses and Queens of the Land, like it is unable to understand non-binary indigenous, unpolarised Hermaphroditism. Which doesn't mean necessarily that men look like women or women like men, it means that we are One within, and that within we are all Mothers, seed and container alike.
Besides, the receptive principle and the inseminating principle have been inverted, because the Seed is Fae, fire-air, solar, Spirit, Creatrix,right side of the brain connected to the left hand, while the Receptive is male, water-earth, containing, matter, lunar, left side of the brain connected to right hand. It's all been inverted and the Hieros Gamos misunderstood and misread, along with the distortion of Plato and the myth of the split Apple.
When I witness the level of ideological confusion that exists in western discourse , reflective of the inner spiritual confusion that exists individually and globally, I feel there is no hope, because the West is destroying all that remains that is true, the ethnic minorities of Peace, of the Undivided Unpolarised Root. The West is now everywhere. The polarised mentality of individualism born of Capitalism and ownership. May covid, natural catastrophe or any strategy Grandma Nature may find get rid of this autoimmune disease that is Western "civilisation". If you can call this bundle of absolute ignorance, misery and confusion "civilisation"...
