The cruise ship "AidaLuna" visited Scrabster today so Thurso was full of visitors!
The generosity of the tourists and locals alike helped us raise £66.88 & €13.50 for Highland Hospice Thurso.
Thank you, all!

What an excellent morning at “The Carnival of Plants” organised by Sìdh C Art!
The Caithness Handbell Ringers rang a programme of nature themed tunes and were joined by some very enthusiastic members of the audience! Following that, and after a wee bit of cajoling, BJ the Christmas Cactus joined us, starring in the world premier of “Han’s Tree of Life” by Katrina Gordon - composer. This piece for flute, handbells and plant was especially commissioned as part of the Festival of Plants. ❤️🪴🪈🔔🎶🎵🎶

❤️🔔🎵❤️We have had a really great day in Fraserburgh! ❤️🎵🎶🔔
Five hours of driving yesterday to get here but it was totally worth it! So brilliant to feel the excitement and see the joy on the faces of the 30+ participants, none of whom had rung before!
Well done North East Community Music - NECM for borrowing bells and Belleplates to make this happen! Your cakes were amazing, too!🧁
We look forward to seeing how your team progresses!❤️🎵🎶🎵🔔
Also, congratulations to Kirsty, current chair of HRGB Scotland, who conducted a bell team for the very first time today! 👏👏👏👏👏
