TADS, the Thrapson Amateur Dramatic Society has been entertaining generations of patrons since 1913. Twice a year TADS take to the stage in Thrapston's Plaza Centre; the annual autumn and spring productions are much anticipated locally and beyond.

Whilst we are still discussing what to bring to the stage next spring, we are hugely excited to have secured the performing rights for ‘2:22 - A Ghost Story’ by Danny Robins for our autumn 2027 production!

Winner of Best New Play at the WhatsOnStage Awards and nominated for Best New Play at the Olivier Awards, this spine-chilling stage phenomenon has had seven West End seasons,
thirty productions across the globe, and is currently on its second record-breaking UK and Ireland tour.

This incredible production is only being made available for a limited number of amateur performances, so we feel very fortunate to be able to perform it for you.

With Calendar Girls wrapped up (watch this space for details on how much we raised for charity once everything is finalised), we start to look forward to what's next!

First up is our Autumn 2026 production - Seasons Greetings, a dark comedy by Alan Ayckbourn. The play follows a chaotic and sometimes disastrous four-day Christmas gathering, set against a backdrop of tensions, marital breakdowns, and a bumbling romance beneath the tree!

Tickets for this will be released once the cast has been confirmed. More announcements to come soon.

And with another sell-out performance, our run of Calendar Girls comes to a close. Our cast and crew have worked so hard to bring this wonderful play to life, and it has been a joy to hear your laughter and applause, and to listen to your feedback, personal stories and experiences.

It's time for us to take a well earned rest but we'll be back in November for some festive comedy.

One week to go!! Calendar Girls opens next Wednesday and there are still limited tickets available for all nights.

As a reminder we will be donating ALL net profits from this production to charity. Any money that we make will be split evenly between Cynthia Spencer Hospice, Cransley Hospice and Macmillan Nurses.
