Thornaby show horticulture was a smash! Thanks to everyone who brought in their hard work this year. We had some amazing entries! Massive thank you's to Bruce Hulme, Julia & Gee Jones, Rob Dunn & Phe Danks who did all the hard work with managing the competition. Also all the judges who took time out of their weekend. See you next year everyone!!

Thornaby Town Council will be marking the 51st anniversary of the Dibbles Bridge disaster with a wreath laying ceremony in remembrance of those affected.

The ceremony will take place at the Dibbles Bridge memorial outside Thornaby Town Hall on Wednesday 27th May at 11am.

Members of the public are welcome to attend, with light refreshments available afterwards in the Town Hall.

Big news for Thornaby Show 🧗‍♂️

We’re bringing a 7m climbing wall to the event on Sunday 30th August 2026, 10:30am–4:30pm – perfect for kids, adults and anyone fancying a challenge. With trained staff, full safety equipment and space for up to four climbers at once, it’s set to be one of the standout attractions of the day.
