Life has taught Eurydice, played by Aubrey, to stand on her own two feet. 🌹

Witty, sharp-tongued and fiercely determined, she’s learned not to rely on promises. Some might call her a glass-half-empty kind of girl, but Eurydice has seen enough to know that good intentions won’t keep you warm when times get tough.

In Greek mythology, Eurydice is best remembered as the woman Orpheus journeys into the Underworld to save. In Hadestown, she has far more agency of her own - practical, guarded and painfully aware of what it takes to survive.

Winning her trust isn’t easy, but behind that careful exterior is someone who desperately wants something worth believing in.

When survival comes calling, what will she be willing to sacrifice?

Orpheus, played by Lydia, sees the world a little differently. 🎶

Penniless, but unapologetically wealthy in the wonders of life, Orpheus is a dreamer. Where everyone else sees problems, he sees possibilities - and he believes that music really can make the world a brighter place.

In Greek mythology, Orpheus was a musician whose songs were said to charm animals, trees and even the stones themselves. In Hadestown, his music carries an even bigger hope: that the right song might bring the world back into tune. 🌹

Kind, hopeful and determined to believe in something better, Orpheus seems almost made for a love story.

But when tragedy strikes, will optimism be enough for the dark road ahead?

Running an empire isn’t easy. 🔥

Meet Hades, played by Solomon - king of the Underworld, ruler of Hadestown and a man who likes everything firmly under control.

Driven and ambitious, Hades has built a world of security and certainty, convinced that walls, work and order are the best ways to protect what he loves. But somewhere along the way, protection became possession - and the distance between Hades and Persephone grew wider.

In the ancient myth, Hades rules the realm of the dead. In Hadestown, he’s also an industrialist, building an empire beneath the earth and promising safety to those willing to work for it.

But can the king of Hadestown remember what brought his world to life in the first place? 🌹

Queen of the Underworld, goddess of spring and someone who definitely knows how to get a party started - Persephone is a fiery spirit: bold, fiercely loving and full of life.

In Greek myth, she belongs to two worlds, spending part of the year above ground and part below. In Hadestown, that divide has taken its toll. She brings warmth wherever she goes, even when she’s struggling to feel it herself.

Beneath all the laughter is a woman longing for the world she remembers - and for the love she and Hades seem to have lost along the way.

Messenger of the gods, guide of souls and, in Hadestown, our storyteller - Hermes has walked this road more times than most.

Warm, wise and always ready with a story, she guides us through joy, heartbreak and everything in between. She knows the road to Hadestown. She knows how this story ends.

But perhaps, this time, things could be different… 🌹
