Well it's been a while since I've updated what's going on so lets get you up to speed. A website is coming soon and activities including talks, walks and workshops will be happening this summer. There may be some camping too but due to digging out the pond, constructing the new showers and communal kitchen (of course using recycled materials, local veg oil in our diggers and plant) the place will look worse before being better. I've already seen many new species of birds exploring the new chalk clay cliffs and and banks and I know the diversity is increasing all over the meadow. The new, old wood play area has also had an amazing array of fungi and the beautiful sound of a woodpecker recently.
It's work in progress but will be an example of how we can live as every other species on this planet lives; with nothing left behind except memories, with no scars like Tarmac and concrete but a place of magic wonder and happiness. 🙏😊💚
