Judge Dredd Crime Files

So, just got out of the Rogue Trooper movie at
Curzon theatre.
This is my second viewing (yes, I know, I was lucky). But I wanted to report, I enjoyed this second viewing even more than the first one.
There were LOADS of dialogue and beats that I missed first time. And I feel I had a smile on my face knowing where the story was going.
This viewing seemed to fly. It felt it was over in much less time than the 2hrs+ that it actually is.
THIS IS A GOOD THING. I was really worried that the second viewing would be a let down. It was the opposite.
I can’t wait until it’s out on a more general release. Fans and non fans are going to love it I think.

The first UK screening of Rogue Trooper took place at the British Film Institute (BFI) as part of the BFI London Film Festival, bringing together an incredible mix of cast, creatives and die-hard 2000 AD fans for a very special evening! Among those in attendance were members of the cast, including t...

Steve Austin artwork incoming on the JD Megazine cover. Steve did a load of character work in the Judge Dredd Crime Files game.
Looking great. Love the detail.

Just got out of the Rogue Trooper Premiere at Leicester Square.
Great film. If you are a fan of the comic you will love it.
All the elements I’ve heard people mention, the eyes, the shirt, the numbers and names. All explained and comic based.
By the time the credits hit in, I wanted a couple more action scenes.
Great film.

There was a Q&A with some of the team after the film. Passion and years of reading progs.
Hope you get to see it soon.
(No spoilers here of course).

What a great panel. I always presumed that she would become Chief Judge eventually.
Ah the irony of her parentage.

Great start to a story in the latest 2000ad prog. Rob Williams, Arthur Wyatt, Henry Flint and Annie Parkhouse - I’m so looking forward to where you take us.

For perps across the pond. You can get to see Rogue Trooper to hopefully.

From the anarchic British comic 2000 AD, it tells the story of 19, a Genetic Infantry soldier, who is accidentally dropped behind enemy lines in the midst of a secret military operation. With the biochips of his dead brothers in tow, 19 must let his superiors know the mission ain’t what they were ...

A classic looking 2000ad cover. Very Dredd old school. Sweet.
