POV - you didn't check the schedule, so you were 2 hours early for your NBHA pole classes 🫣
Sooo, we decide to gate crash 2 of the ranch classes as well 😂
Wrong tack, wrong attire and not very long to try and remember a reining pattern, but we had a great time! ✅️
It's always fun to change things up a bit. Even if very impromptu 😅
Pleased to say Alfie smashed yet another 2 pole classes later that afternoon, winning us a 1st and a 2nd place ❤️
Thank you to Bur-Ridge Ranch / Luke Burridge for a fantastic event, as well as all the other helpers and organisers! It's quite a trek for us, but always worth it, every time ✨️

P.O.V - you and your horse were invited to demonstrate at The American Barn at Willow Farm for their very first Americana! 🤩🇺🇲🐴👢

It was great to meet so many new, like-minded people in one place! We hope you all had a wonderful time, learnt a thing or two and that we perhaps inspired some of you to take up mounted shooting 😉

It's worth noting this americana was completly sold out pretty quickly! So if you see them advertise another, make sure you lock in your tickets in ASAP 🏃‍♀️

The first mounted shooting camp of 2026. We were only able to attend the 2nd of the 2 days this time around, but it was still very much worth it! Especially pleased to announce we came overall 1st place for the competition 🥇

Weaving our way to a new pole bending PB 😎 👌
Approx 27.4 (time tbc). Here is to breaking the 26 second barrier over the next couple of competitions at 4 Strides Barrel Racing 🤞

A horse that loves his job so much he nearly leaves me behind in the chute 😂

Sunday saw us head down to Kent for a ranch riding and barrel racing event run by Bur-Ridge Ranch. Neither Alfie or I have ever competed in ranch, reining or trail, but what an eye opener it was! So much fun, loads learned and plenty for us to work on for next time. We even walked away with a 2nd place rosette in the reining, and a 2nd place rosette for a pole bending class! Thank you very much for having us, looking forward to the next one! 😊
