West Berks Comedy Festival

Took some flyers and posters to Greenham Common but I don’t think the local folks were interested. But a big gang of bikers asked lots of questions about the West Berks Comedy Festival before revealing they were from Lincolnshire and not likely to return.

Helping out at someone else's event tonight at St Nicolas Church, (https://stnicolasnewbury.churchsuite.com/events/fxyvq9go) but might try to sneak in some visibility for West Berks Comedy Festival while I'm at it. We will have a show at the same venue after all! Do come along tonight though.... it is free, though you do have to book.

Our comedy festival coming soon, and we are pleased to be working with a variety of venues in Newbury that will host shows and associated events: Esquire's, Parched, Rocket Propelled Games, St Nicolas Church, Ace Space, City Arts Cafe and Boswell's which is so close to re-opening. Lovely this morning to see some of their customers gathering at the front to welcome staff who are returning soon.

Had a busy week putting up banners in permitted locations for West Berks Comedy Festival, including at Kintbury Tennis Club this morning (not pictured). Lovely big 2m x1m banners.... and I spoke to several people who had walked right past them and seen nothing at all. Exhausting.

The final day of the Festival has three great shows to choose from, plus a curry for those that want it. Come to one show, come to them all. Stephen Carlin gets the ball rolling at 4pm, then Alex Kitson is on at 7.30 with Joe Wells closing the Festival at 8.45pm. It's going to be a lot of fun, and once the last chair is cleared away it will all be over.
