KATS - Kennet Amateur Theatrical Society

KATS - Kennet Amateur Theatrical Society Kennnet Amateur Theatrical Society (KATS) is a theatre group located in Thatcham, Berkshire. KATS is based in Thatcham, near Newbury, West Berkshire.

Our regular rehearsal venue is Bucklebury Memorial Hall, with several local venues being used for productions. We normally stage three or four public productions a year. In February we stage our Winter Show, which is usually a Pantomime or a musical show. In late summer we offer a play or a variety style show at a smaller venue. We can be found at most local events such as the The Festival of the

Arts in October, Thatcham Family Fun Day and Thatcham Christmas Lights. Larger productions are sometimes taken to the Newbury Exchange, with the smaller productions using local village halls
