“Hold On” – Heidi Wilson

Originally written for a Vermont vigil after the loss of a young person, Hold On was created as a gentle, easy song to help people gather in grief and support one another.

In 2026, it found new life in the U.S. “Singing Resistance” movement, where communities came together in response to ICE raids—using song to offer comfort, solidarity, and humanity in difficult moments.

Now spreading across the UK and beyond, it continues to bring people together in compassion and collective voice. Recently sung at a Together Alliance march, it stands as a quiet reminder: we are stronger when we hold each other.
