A reminder that the first thing the N***s did when they came to power was to round up all the leftists and put them in concentration camps.
Then they went after all the liberals and centrists who enabled them into power in the first place, to make sure there was absolutely no political alternative left.
Then they used the infrastructure of political persecution to set about eradicating others that they considered undesirable, like Jews, gypsies, and the disabled.
All the while ordinary people just sat back and let them get on with it, because they saw the mass persecution as 'someone else's problem'.
The most crucial factor in the rise of evil is always ordinary people seeing it happening, but doing nothing to resist, or actually going along with it because they love all the flags, and banners, and symbolism, and political rhetoric so much.
It's the grim moral calculus that people perform to decide that the horrors on display are 'a price worth paying' in return for whatever (probably imaginary) benefit they think they're getting from having the extreme-right in charge.
