Controversial? Maybe 👀 But this is a conversation the aesthetics industry needs to have.

Medical qualification ≠ aesthetics qualification.
And equally, beauty qualification ≠ aesthetics qualification.

What matters is the relevant training, qualifications, experience and commitment to safety.

I’ve completed the practical element of my Level 7 Aesthetics training and I’m currently completing the theory. I trained alongside nurses, doctors and pharmacists — and when it came to aesthetics, we were all there to learn.

I’ve spent 18 years working with the face, skin and anatomy through beauty, advanced skin, laser and aesthetics, and I’ll continue learning because I don’t believe a one-day course is enough for anyone.

This isn’t anti-nurse or anti-doctor, and it certainly isn’t saying every beauty therapist should inject.

It’s pro-education, pro-qualification and pro-safety. 🤍
