What a difference a brow can make ✨

This lovely lady had very little natural brow left, so we were able to completely rebuild the shape with soft hairstrokes.

Look at the lift it gives her face.

Fresher, more youthful and so much more definition around the eyes, while still keeping the result soft and believable.

She was absolutely thrilled with the result, and you can see why.

Have your lips started to fade into your face a little?

As we get older, the natural colour and border of the lips can become softer and less defined. It can make the lips look smaller or leave you feeling like you need lipstick just to bring them back.

Lip blush doesn’t need to be bold or bright.

For many of our clients, the goal is simply to restore what has gradually faded. A soft, natural border. A little more colour. Better definition. Lips that look fresher without looking obviously treated.

The result can be incredibly subtle, but it can make such a difference to how your whole face looks and how you feel when you look in the mirror.

September already! 🍂

We know it might feel a little early to mention Christmas, but many of our clients come to us with a particular date in mind when they’re planning a new permanent makeup treatment.

A holiday. A wedding. A special birthday. And Christmas is always a popular one.

If you’d love your new permanent makeup to be completely finished and settled in time for Christmas, now is a very good time to start planning.

Our current wait for a permanent makeup appointment is around 4–6 weeks, taking us into October.

Your follow-up appointment is then usually around 4–6 weeks later. This is where we check how everything has healed, make any adjustments and perfect the finished result.

Allow another couple of weeks after that for everything to settle beautifully.

So although Christmas still feels a long way away, the permanent makeup timeline soon adds up!

If brows, lips or eyeliner have been on your wish list for a while and you’d like them completed before Christmas, September is the month to get the ball rolling.

“I’d love to have my brows done, but I’m worried they’ll be too much.”

We hear this all the time.

Many of the ladies who come to us have been thinking about permanent makeup for months, sometimes years. Their brows have gradually become thinner or more sparse, but the thought of ending up with dark or obvious eyebrows has put them off.

Usually, they don’t want anything dramatic.

They want to look in the mirror and see a little more shape around their eyes. To feel a bit more polished without having to reach for a brow pencil every morning. Just a little confidence boost.

And most of all, they want to know they’re going to be listened to and looked after.

So we take our time. We listen to what you want, draw the brows on first and choose the shape and colour together. Nothing is rushed and nothing is decided for you.

The goal isn’t for people to notice your eyebrows. It’s for you to notice how much better you feel with them.

Back to school = back to booking appointments ✏️

We’re coming to the end of the school holidays, and every year we notice the same thing…

As soon as the children go back to school, our diary suddenly gets very busy.

September is already looking incredibly full:

And October is already heavily booked

It’s my dad’s birthday today and I just had to share this beautiful picture created for him by Malmesbury artist Bootsie.

It includes his Lambretta scooter, his dog Amber, and a road sign with a very special meaning to him. She was captured the personal details beautifully.

Dad was absolutely delighted with his gift ❤️

The whole experience with Bootsie was fabulous from start to finish. She is such a lovely lady and took so much care to understand what I wanted and make the finished piece feel completely personal to him.

Blonde brows don’t have to look warm, heavy or too “done”.

For this lovely client, we created dark ash blonde hairstroke brows, using tiny pixelated lines of colour to rebuild shape and definition while still keeping the texture you would expect to see in a natural eyebrow.

Straight after treatment, the strokes always look a little sharper and the colour slightly stronger than the final result.

Over the next few days, the skin naturally exfoliates and the colour will lighten by around 40%. The sharpness softens too, leaving a much gentler, natural-looking finish.

The aim here wasn’t to give her “new brows”. It was to give her back the soft, face-framing eyebrows she had been missing.
