A bitter sweet moment.

I took a walk down to the station and while I was there I noticed the fairy door, which had been nestled into the hole in the tree, and which people seemed to be taking care of for about 8 months, was gone.
I could be upset that someone stole it, or thew it away, but I'm going to believe that someone thought it was so awesome that they had to have it. That it will spend its days being admired and treasured in a fairy garden somewhere 🧚🏼‍♂️ 🍄

I haven't been feeling very crafty the last few months but Halloween always inspires me. When I saw these candles sticks in Home Bargains I couldn't resist zhuzhing them up. Here are the pics on how they look before and after. Not sure about the grey candle though, what are your thoughts?

Unfortunately, once again, the actions of a few have had an impact on others. Given the significant time and effort invested in some of the doors for the Abandoned Art project—and the financial loss that has resulted—I've decided it's no longer practical to create highly detailed or elaborate abandoned fairy doors.
Thank you to those who have appreciated my work. Hopfully you will find and photograph some of the others.

It's been a long time since I made a fairy house which means there's been an extra sprinkling of magical fairy dust which constructing this house.
It's now ready for painting though so hoping to get it finished after work today.
