✨ The first five have arrived! ✨

I wanted my new business cards to be a little bit different… because apparently just putting my contact details on a rectangle of card was far too sensible. 😂

So I've turned them into collectible maker cards, each featuring one of my creations alongside a little reminder to embrace creativity, imperfection and the joy of making things by hand. 🪡🌿

These are the first 5 designs of a planned collection of 10 — the other five will be coming in the next batch (because even I occasionally have to acknowledge the existence of a budget 😆).

They'll be popping into purchases, kits and bags and coming along with me to events — so keep an eye out for which one you get!

And yes… I fully expect someone to eventually try to collect all ten. 👀😂

A lovely morning of painting with wool at the barn 🐑🪡🌿

These three wonderful makers joined me for a 2D needle felting workshop today, each creating their own picture from wool — and I love how completely different they all turned out, each piece has its own style and personality 💚

That’s one of my favourite things about teaching felting. There’s no need for everyone to make exactly the same thing. I can show you the techniques, help you along the way, and then you get to take it wherever your imagination fancies.

And look at those finished pieces! 😍

If you fancy having a go at needle felting yourself, keep an eye out for upcoming workshops at the barn. Beginners are always very welcome — no artistic experience required, just a willingness to repeatedly stab some wool until something lovely happens. 😂🪡

Well… the secret is finally out! 🧶🌿✨

I am absolutely thrilled to say that Wood, Stone, Feather & Bone has been awarded a Yarndale Start-Up Bursary and I'll be exhibiting at Yarndale 2026!

This feels like such a huge opportunity for my little business and I'm incredibly excited (and possibly slightly terrified 😂) about everything that's ahead.

I also want to acknowledge Jenny and Amanda, whose story and generosity are at the heart of this bursary. It makes being chosen feel particularly special, and I'm incredibly grateful to have been given this opportunity. ❤️

There'll be lots more Yarndale preparation, behind-the-scenes chaos and mountains of wool to come over the next few weeks…

But for now I'm just going to enjoy saying it:

WE'RE GOING TO YARNDALE! 🥳🧶🍄

New Forest Show Exclusive

He's finally ready...

Inspired by the ancient tradition of pannage in the New Forest, this woodland guardian has been quietly taking shape over the past few weeks and will be making his very first public appearance at the New Forest & Hampshire County Show.

Complete with his piglet companion, weathered staff and tiny woodland details, he's one of my favourite pieces I've created this year.
