Applefest is a celebration of the Mighty Apple with music, trade stands and catering.

Each year Tenbury Wells, The Town in the Orchard, celebrates the Mighty Apple with a one day event held on the Town’s Burgage Recreational Area on the first Saturday in October. Apple Identification , Apple pressing by Appleteme , demonstrations , Classic Cars,

🍎 Tenbury Applefest News! 🍎

The Annual General meeting of the Tenbury Applefest Association took place at the Fountain Inn, Tenbury on Wednesday 4th February.

A new committee was formed being; Chair - Lauren Silvey, Vice Chair - Frances Ashfield, Secretary - Marina Rae and Treasurer – Belinda Smith.

We say thank to the retiring committee and congratulations to the new appointees.

This year’s Applefest event will take place, as usual, on the Burgage Tenbury Wells on Saturday 3rd October.

Booking forms for exhibitor and caterer sites are now available by emailing to [email protected]

Please be reminded of the Applefest Annual General Meeting at the Fountain Inn, Oldwood Road on Wednesday 4th February 2026, at 10:30 am. The meeting is open to all who wish to attend.

THIS MEETING IS CRUCIAL TO THE CONTINUATION OF APPLEFEST, so please come and join us for a free coffee or tea. If you would like to come but will be unable to attend, please register by calling 07973 549921.

‼️Statement from the Tenbury Applefest Committee‼️

A statement we never wanted to have to write:

CANCELLATION OF APPLEFEST 2025

With much regret based on the weather forecast information available on Tuesday evening 30th September, the committee of the Tenbury Applefest Association decided to cancel this year’s event due to have taken place on 4th October 2025.

In fairness to their contractors, the participants and all the visiting public it seemed it could be potentially irresponsible and unproductive to proceed faced with the then stated forecast of heavy rain and extreme winds from midday Friday and though all-day Saturday.

Despite there always being the possibility of an improved outlook the decision was taken at the latest time that it was possible to give notice to many of the suppliers and participants.

We thank you for your interest and continued support for Applefest, share your disappointment and look forward to a better forecast for 3rd October 2026.

🎶 Live music, stalls, kids’ fun, alpacas & more
🚗 Free parking at the swimming pool car park & palmers meadow (we ask you to please car share wherever possible)

🍎 Tenbury Applefest 2025 🍏

We’re pleased that we’ve managed to secure increased capacity on Palmers Meadow this year. However, parking may still be a challenge, so we kindly ask all visitors to car share wherever possible.

If you are driving, please:

🚗 Park with care and economy of space, so we can make the most of the available areas.
🙌 Respect and follow the guidance of our volunteer stewards, who are there to help keep everything safe and smooth for everyone.

📅 When: Saturday 4th October, 10:00 – 16:30
📍 Where: Tenbury Wells
🅿️ Parking:
• Free on Palmers Meadow and the Swimming Pool car park
• Malvern Hills DC car park – usual charges apply, with disabled access parking and EV charging available

🎟️ Admission: £5.00 per person. Children under 16 go free when accompanied by an adult.

As we reach the end of August, Tenbury Applefest draws even closer! 🍎

We appreciate that our visitors like the traditional fayre style of approach to the Event and we honour this with demonstrations from local crafts people, family entertainment and the shopping village where it is possible to go away with unique items to savour or to start your Christmas shopping…

It’s a fantastic day out, enjoyed by all ages!
