Dragon Boat Festival 2026 🐉

Everyone is warmly invited to join us for our Dragon Boat Festival celebration!

Come and enjoy an afternoon of Chinese culture, traditional performances, music, crafts, family activities and community fun. Whether you are coming on your own, with friends or bringing the whole family, we would love to see you there.

Do you know someone living with Parkinson’s? Can they benefit from gentle mindful exercise? Feel free to share this new initiative 💕

☯️Tai Chi for People Living with Parkinsons, powered by Parkinson's UK ☯️

40-week programme offering subsidised weekly mindful tai chi, qigong and therapeutic art sessions to support people with Parkinsons.

📆Starting from 19th January 2026, sessions will be delivered at 10:30am-12:00pm on Monday morning at the Sambrook Centre, Grange Avenue, TF3 1FL.📆

Each session will include 60 minutes of gentle mindful movements of Tai Chi & Qigong. Comfort breaks with refreshments will follow after.

Progress is at your own pace and no previous experience is needed. Participants can sign up for one or multiple sessions on a first come first serve basis.

After the summer break and many performances at various events, we’re excited to announce that our Children’s Dance class (1:45-2:30 pm) and Dragon Dance &Martial Arts class (2:30-3:30 pm) will resume this Sunday! Parents are welcome to join in too! As we prepare for our Chinese New Year performances, we warmly invite participants from all backgrounds to be part of this exciting journey. 🙏URGENT HELP NEEDED! 🙏

Hi everyone!

I’m reaching out on behalf of the Chinese Arts and Culture Center.

This afternoon, we experienced another major leak during the downpour. Luckily, my husband Tary and I got there just in time to prevent further damage, but after three hours of non-stop mopping and countless buckets of water removed, we realize we need help!

We’ve had multiple repair companies in the past promise us they would fix the issue, but we’re still facing leaks. We’re looking for reliable local roof repair and gutter cleaning companies that specialize in industrial roof and gutter who can help us find a permanent solution.

If you have any recommendations or know someone who can assist us, we would be extremely grateful! 🙏
