Well it worked well. Intonations spot on; set up and well oiled. It stays in tune great and sounds lovely.
A success over all.

This is a bridge refitting on a Washburn semi acoustic. The bridge is removed with heat and a scraper because it is lifting. Both surfaces are cleaned, sanded and scored ready for refitting. The scale length is checked for each of the E strings to ensure the bridge was correctly fitted initially. Luckily it was perfect so this guitar should have no issue with intonation. The bridge is then aligned and fitted without glue as a practice, then glued and clamped using my new bridge caul, ibex clamp and deep throat clamps. The glue is cleaned from the bridge and left for 24hrs to cure. Fingers crossed it stays on.

Got this gorgeous Sheraton II in at the moment for a good set up. The guitar is lovely!! Been very busy recently with set ups and repairs. Restored a couple of old nylon stringed guitars. The business is going very well at the moment and is a lot of fun. Got a Washburn semi acoustic in at the moment for a bridge re-fit to cure a bit if belly bulge. That's exciting and means more new tools. Remember to get in touch if you have any issues with your stringed instruments.

Lovely Freshman that came in this week for a set up and bone nut replacement. Sadly I didn't get round to taking some final shots of the guitar restrung and the new nut as I have had a really busy week but rest assured it looked and sounded great.

This guitar came in with extremely worn in frets all the way up the board, noisy pots and a rigid action. Underneath all that was a beautiful, slick and sweet sounding guitar. After a thorough fret dressing, a cleanup of the electrics a full setup and a new set of strings it now has that fender twang. A great guitar!!! Also with the craziest electric setup I've seen. But the result is a tone pot that acts as a volume boost that sounds phenomenal!!!
