My maternity leave is quickly approaching
- but don't worry I won't be off for long, I'll be back before the end of the Autumn 🤞🏻- so your last chance to catch me for piercing services will be til the end of June, possibly the very start of July but ofc it's very unpredictable as to when a baby wants to make its grand entrance 🎉 👶🏼

I absolutely love when clients say, “Hey, I want to tell you a story about my ear because I think it could help other people.”

When she was a teenager, her mom wouldn’t let her get piercings. So she went out, bought a piercing gun, and pierced her entire ear herself at home.

Unfortunately, the results were severe.

She developed true keloids not little irritation bumps, but large growths that required multiple surgeries to remove. At one point she even needed a skin graft on her neck because of it.

A lot was not covered by insurance, and she told me she has spent just under $10,000 trying to fix the damage. Even after all the treatments and surgeries, her ear will permanently look different.

She said she tells anyone who will listen: don’t pierce yourself at home and this picture should be all you need to see it’s not worth it🩷

Jewellery downsize for these healing paired lip piercings AKA “snake bites” 🐍
At the previous appointment we also fit the cobweb ring in the septum 🕸️🕷️

(these cobweb rings I literally only have 1 each in stock of 8mm & 10mm diameter and don’t know when my supplier will be restocking if at all, get them before they’re gone forever!)

One of my favourite styles of ring to fit in -healed- conches is the circular barbell AKA ‘horseshoe’ ring, anodised gold in house fit with amethyst coloured gem claw ends 💎✨💜🌙
