TIME FOR HIBERNATION

Charlie has been working 24/7 this summer holidays, if she hasn’t been in the studio, she has been doing the kiln till 2am! We are endlessly thankful for all of the pots that have been painted, and the new (and old) customers that have been here!

Despite the weird mix of weather, you guys have turned up and been ever(s!) so creative! Good luck to all those going back to work and school next week!

Please be patient with us while we sort out the turnover of the studio and all the pots! Thank you so much in advance. 😁💐💗

Last night was just a little bit magical ✨🥂🎶

Our Paint & Sip evening with the lovely Maddie Rose Singer was everything we hoped it would be… cosy, relaxing and the perfect excuse to switch off and unwind after what has felt like a very long and busy summer! 🖌️🤍

There was painting, plenty of fizz, beautiful live music and, as an added surprise, the most delicious sweet treats from the wonderful Immi Immi’s Cakes and Bakes 🧁🤤 Honestly, they did not last long!

We absolutely love creating these special evenings in the studio. There is something so lovely about getting together, putting your phones down for a little while (apart from taking photos of your pots, obviously 😂), having a drink and just getting creative with friends or family.

And if you missed out this time, don't worry... 👀

Did you know we are open late every Thursday evening? You can bring your own booze and snacks, join one of our cosy Paint & Movie sessions or simply enjoy a peaceful evening of pottery painting in our tranquil little boutique area. 🍷🍿🎨

And keep your eyes peeled because we have some very special Paint & Sip evenings with live music planned throughout the autumn and winter season... 🍂✨🎶

Because if there is one thing we are ready for, it's cosy creative nights as the evenings start drawing in 🤎

What makes you happy? 💭

Honestly… THIS! ☔🖌️🎨

Rain! Finally! 🙌 After weeks of heat, I never thought I'd be this excited to see a grey sky and hear the rain tapping away outside the studio 😂☔

Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of sunshine, but there's something about a rainy day that just makes the studio feel even cosier. Everyone tucked inside, painting pots, chatting away and getting creative while it's chucking it down outside 🥰

I think this is officially Perfect Pottery Painting Weather ☔🖌️

Give me a rainy day, a cosy studio full of people being creative and lots of colourful pots and I'm happy 💛

Are you ready for Autumn?🍂🍁🍄🧡

We've been busy preparing the studio for the cosy season... Filling the shelves with autumnal pumpkins, lanterns, mushrooms, ghosts and so many more whimsical magical pots for you to paint 🤗✨🎃

We cannot wait! The studio will go into full magical autumn mode after the summer holidays have ended and this is in our opinion the absolute best time of year to visit us for that super cosy want to spend all day here session! So watch this space 👀🍁

You're Painting it! And we're loving it!

We had such an amazing weekend with you all, thank you so much for visiting our little studio and painting wonderful pots 😍

I can't lie I'm absolutely loving all the autumnal designs you're creating, it's making me so excited for September/October 😬🧡🍁 and it's getting us in the mood for the seasonal change over in the studio, where everything in the studio will turn from jungle summer vibes to autumn/Halloween vibes 🎃🍂🧡 eek sooo excited 😆

Summer has been busy... and we're officially giving you permission to take a night off 🍾✨

Join us for an adults-only evening of pottery painting, fizz, live acoustic music and proper end-of-summer relaxation 🎨🎶🥂

Our lovely Maddie-Rose will be singing live throughout the evening, creating the perfect relaxed soundtrack while you paint, sip and unwind.

POV: you’re waiting for your pottery to come out of the kiln… 👀🔥

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, we’re opening kilns, sorting pots, matching creations to their owners and having approximately 472 little “LOOK AT THIS ONE!” moments along the way 😂

Because honestly… you lot have been creating some STUNNING pottery lately 😍

Every kiln opening is a little bit like Christmas morning — you never quite know how everything is going to turn out, and there’s nothing better than seeing the finished pieces for the first time. ✨

PLEASE HELP! 🙏

…the pots. There are so many brilliant pieces that have been started, now we are just waiting to see the amazing finished product!
Don’t worry we aren’t actually suffering - we just need a little clearing if you guys can help us!
So if you have a piece to finish book in! Or you can come grab a free takeaway kit and finish it at home, we really don’t mind😊

Additionally, thank you so much for all the support this summer holidays! At the moment pieces are taking 3 weeks to be fired, there is A LOT for just Charlie to be glazing & firing. We really appreciate your patience!

That’s the best way to describe our Paint & Movie sessions in just four words!

Today we settled into the studio with our pottery, paintbrushes and snacks and were transported to Middle-earth with the epic Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 🧙‍♂️💍✨

There’s just something about getting cosy, choosing your pottery piece, getting creative and watching a brilliant film on the big screen that makes our Paint & Movie sessions so special. It’s more than just pottery painting… it’s a whole experience! 🎬🎨

And if you’re already feeling a little bit of FOMO… 👀

September’s Paint & Movie sessions are being announced TOMORROW — Wednesday 19th August! 🍂✨
