Well that's a wrap for the Art of Wellbeing Week from the Wellbeing Hubs network, but not the end of the line…..

Firstly a big thank you to all those who have posted their work so that others can enjoy it and to those who offered their skills via video or conversation this week.

We fully intend to continue posting peoples work and ideas and hope you will want to stay involved in some way be it in conversation or activity.

If we have one ask, it would be to let others know about the page if you think they would be interested. This way the opportunity to use creativity for our general health and wellbeing is encouraged and nurtured.

This will be the parting shot of something to do at home brought to you as part of the Art of Wellbeing week.

What could be better than the final session from the virtual Bellstone tent of the Shrewsbury Folk Festival. (next years festival out in the open perhaps?)
We hope you have enjoyed the content and interaction we will continue posting things as they come in.

In the original programme, we had pencilled in some activity that has not happened. For us the key element being the group meetings to talk about specific themes. So that this doesn't get lost may I propose the following:

• Coordinating & developing materials and ideas resource packs to support the creativity of people at home. Suggested date Tuesday 6th October 2:00-3:00 pm
• Supporting the growth of a diverse arts for health offer in Telford. Suggested date 20th October 7:00-8:30 pm.

There may be other topics people may want to discuss. Feel free to suggest them and we can post a shout out to see what the interest is. This way the Art of Wellbeing work will evolve and grow from the Back to Better week.

For now if you would like to join us in either of the above conversations to shape and inform this work please email [email protected] and he will send out a meeting invite

FORGE JAZZ
Now for the end of week choice; todays jazz treat is the Elliot Sansom Trio, sit back and enjoy

Forge is a member of the West Midlands Jazz Network and whilst we are all unable to get out and about to gigs, then how about watching the gig in the garden or their home instead.
Thanks to the Arts Council (through WM Jazz West Midlands) for making this happen.

The Elliott Sansom Trio play a socially distanced lockdown gig in the studio.

A heads up about this opportunity.

Arty Party is an independent company of learning disabled artists, based in Shrewsbury and Telford. Using a variety of art forms, they share powerful work with the public through performance and exhibitions. Check them out via their page https://www.facebook.com/artypartytelford/

Wellbeing Hubs Network have been in conversation as to how we may collaborate in future. Founded in Telford this company of very talented individuals have won awards at international film festivals yet are never far from their community roots. Still finding ways to be creative despite social distancing and lockdown.
