‘A Perfect Day For It!’ ☀️
This is officially the most detailed painting I’ve ever created… with around 120 hours of studio work going into it!
So much of that time was spent working out the composition. It was a bit like putting together one giant jigsaw puzzle - deciding what should go where, making sure everything was the right scale, and then slowly bringing the whole scene to life with all the people, families and little moments happening throughout.
I’ve included some close-ups so you can have a proper look… because there’s far more going on than you might spot at first glance!

I painted this one over the weekend, but in true British fashion… the rain had other ideas! ☔️

So I abandoned it, packed everything away and came back early the next morning before work to finish it.

I really enjoyed painting this one, there’s something so lovely about capturing a place in the moment, even when the weather decides to join in! 🎨

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it. ❤️

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU for all your support this Bank Holiday weekend and all summer in fact. We've absolutely loved seeing so many familiar faces and families returning year after year, as well as lots of lovely new faces discovering us for the first time.
As we enter into September it always feels like the pace changes a little bit... still busy, but perhaps a little less crazy!
Here's to a wonderful September - and thank you again for being part of our summer! 🥰
