We wanted to let you know the arrangements for Elizabeth McHugh's passing.

We know Liz touched so many lives, we would be honoured for you to join us to remember her.

For those who wish to add a personal touch, Liz had a great love for the colours aqua, blue and turquoise. We thought it would be a lovely idea if you'd like to wear something in these shades – a scarf, an accessory, or anything that brings her to mind.

The service will be held on:
Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 at 2:00 PM St. Michael's Church Dawlish Street / Den Promenade, Teignmouth, Devon, TQ14 8TB

Following the service, we will gather at the Yacht Club to share memories of our lovely Liz, along with some light refreshments:

I am heartbroken to share that our beautiful Mum and wife, Liz, has passed away.

We want to thank all of you for your support, loyal custom and friendship over the years. You have created so many happy memories we can cherish forever, from The Blue Hut, to The Shellfish Pot and then The Wave. What a beautiful journey it has been with John's love for food, Liz's love for art and the sea and their love for each other.

Liz lives on through these memories and through her art.

Hello lovely people, sorry it has been so quiet on my page, l have some very sad news to share with you. Unfortunately l have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I will update you soon, but would like to thank you all , who have purchased my art ,it is a wonderful feeling .love Liz xx

Hello lovely people, thank you everyone for your concern,we are both fine and decided to retire at The Wave 🌊. I will still create artwork and will be looking for new outlets to sell my work. I will also be increasing the choice on our online shop in the near future. We have absolutely loved serving you all and made some lovely friends through it.
