Hello. We are still alive, well rested and raring to go. Working on next year's production - working title 'Ebb and Flo'.

Thanks for your replies.
On the musician - ideally, a solo instrument that is compatible with Scottish Traditional music, can do some composing, can play live with our shows, is Argyll based. The big 'however' is, we dont have sponsorship so the pay is minimal! David

Hello again. The 'Crows' are on the lookout for a musician as we are having to say goodbye to Ann. Whilst it would be great if we could replace Ann's multiple talents of singing, piano and fiddle playing, we are happy to talk to anyone who is interested in music for live theatre. If that is you, or you know someone, please contact David on 0790 977 6445 or [email protected]. Thanks.

Hello. I attended an excellent workshop in Oban aimed at helping local businesses engage with the cruise ship operators who visit our town. The Crows would very much like to partner with a venue to offer cruise ship visitors (and indeed, all visitors) our performances of stories of the West of Scotland, in particular - 'Fish and Ships' - the story of Oban. Please call me on 0790 977 6445 to discuss. Thanks, David

Well, that's it for this year. One more great audience at Carradale rounded off a memorable tour. It has been a privilege to have played our small part in commemorating the horrific and unnecessary events of 100 years ago.
Next year? - 'Home Fires' will be a hard act to follow. We'll take a bit of a break and have a think in the New Year.
Once again, many thanks to all our hosts, audiences and sponsors. David.

Yet another truly special day - Home Fires on Mull on Armistice Day!! Many thanks to Comar/Mull Theatre for the opportunity, and to the very supportive and appreciative audience. And, perhaps, a word for the cows who kept up a chorus of moos throughout. Can't complain ,.. I did ask for everyone to join in the songs.
Next...our final stop on the tour - Carradale Village Hall on Saturday 17th November, 7.30pm. See you there? David

A truly memorable evening at Inveraray! Crowd control is not something we usually have to worry about - but fortunately there was seats for all the 100 or so who came along on a stormy night to support the event. Congratulations to the people of Inveraray - the church looked amazing decorated with hand knitted poppies and the giant poppy overlooking the Main Street. I only hope we did the occasion justice. Next up - Mull Theatre on Armistice Day. Another special day! David

Hello. Very excited about our next performance of Home Fires on Saturday 3rd November at the Scottish Submarine Centre, in Helensburgh. https://www.facebook.com/ScottishSubmarineCentre/
Where else would there be an opportunity to perform in the shadow of a real submarine? Promises to be a truly memorable evening. Hope to see you there if you are located anywhere in easy reach of Helensburgh. David

Using 360 projection and audio, our award winning centre is home to the X51 Stickleback Submarine and offers a unique immersive experience all about this vessel and Subs in general. We also run a variety of events and performances throughout the year.
