Last Friday, 28th August. We had the absolute delight and pleasure of looking after Viv & Georges for their Wedding. 💕

It was an intimate service and meal with just their family and close friends. They got to enjoy the full view from our Conservatory.

Then they partied the night away with our resident DJ Paul Melville!!

Huge congratulations to the lovely couple, we all wish you many many more happy years together!

🌟 Weekly Activity Highlights @ Heron House Residential Care Home - Taunton 🌟

We have enjoyed a very fun and busy week of music, outings, laughter and a birthday! 🎶🐴☕🥳

🎤 We welcomed back Cameron Lemmer for another fantastic afternoon of live music. From Buddy Holly and ABBA to Disney favourites, there was something for everyone — plenty of singing, smiling and dancing all afternoon! 💃

🐑 A trip to Doniford Farm Park! Despite a few road closures making the journey interesting (thankfully Heronetta knew the way! 😆), we made it to Doniford Farm for a lovely day out meeting and petting the animals, followed by a delicious lunch and lots of laughter. 🐐🐴

☕ A morning at Oake Manor Golf Club. We enjoyed another lovely outing to Venue at Oake Manor, catching up over coffee and chatting about everyone’s week. It was especially wonderful to have our lovely Paul join us and enjoy some time out, chatting and being part of the group. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the loveliest memories 🥰

🎵 More fantastic live entertainment! Nigel Reader had everyone singing, dancing and joining in during another brilliant afternoon of music and fun. 🎶💃

🥳 Happy 96th Birthday, Betty! We celebrated our lovely Betty's 96th birthday! 🎉🎈 It was a wonderful day and a huge thank you to Claire in the kitchen for creating another fabulous tennis-themed birthday cake! 🎾🎂

🎤 Another big thank you to James Butcher for a lovely afternoon of singing along together — you always bring such a wonderful atmosphere and get everyone joining in.

🔴🔵 The Blues are BACK! 💙 The Blues made a massive comeback last week! To be fair, we may have been letting them win recently… we were starting to feel sorry for them after the amount of times they’d lost! 😂 But last week was a different story, and the Blues came back fighting! Congratulations also goes to our 'Players of the Match' Rita for the Red team ❤️ and Patricia for the winning Blue team 💙
