Embellished wire flower stem workshop NEXT FRIDAY SPACES Still available
Friday 4th Sept 10.30am - 4.30pm

Create a variety of wire flower stems inspired by summer blooms such as dahlias, zinnias, echinacea and more to display in a vase. Judith will teach you how to use various gauges of copper wire and several different techniques, along with the extra tricks that will bring your wire flowers to life. You can expect to come away with a bunch of unique wire flower stems based on the ideas shown in the photos, how many you create will depend on which techniques you choose to add your beaded detail, and your own pace. You don’t need any experience of wire work to enjoy this workshop.

All materials and use of tools included, there will be a wide range of glass beads to choose from to embellish your flowers. You can choose Copper wire or Black wire. You may also wish to bring a small narrow necked vase or glass bottle (14-18cm tall) to build your arrangement in, if not you can borrow one from Judith for the day. If you usually wear glasses for reading or making please bring them along.

We had a lovely relaxing time last Saturday Block Printing and then hand embroidering into the print. Some people had never embroidered before and did so well! A big shout out to Andi who came to help me. 🧵✂️🪡
