πŸ† Congratulations to Ann Wall, recipient of the 2026 Chris White Award for Contribution to the Community.

For the past 16 years, Ann has played a pivotal role at Bunbury Mill, helping to inspire generations of young people through educational visits, introducing hundreds of children to the joys of pond dipping, supporting wildlife projects and giving countless hours of volunteer service.

From helping to secure the future of the Mill to creating opportunities for others to learn, explore and connect with nature, Ann's contribution to our community has been truly remarkable.

A thoroughly deserving recipient of this year's award πŸ‘πŸ»

Ann was presented the award by Nicky Durrant, Chair of the Bunbury Village Day Team.

Congratulations to Pete McCleave OBE on his well-deserved recognition in The King's Birthday Honours.

Many visitors to Bunbury Village Day will know Pete as the charismatic host of our Arena Games, bringing humour, energy and plenty of good-natured mischief to the afternoon.

Away from the microphone, Pete is the founder of 10'000 Donors, a remarkable campaign raising awareness of blood cancer and encouraging people to join the stem cell donor register. His efforts have helped inspire tens of thousands of new donor registrations and potentially life-saving matches for patients in need.

Pete has been awarded an OBE for services to blood cancer awareness and charity. A fantastic achievement and one that is richly deserved.

Congratulations Pete from everyone at Bunbury Village Day.
