A packed Memorial Hall, huge laughs from start to finish, and people genuinely buzzing that live comedy like this is now happening right here in Polesworth.

The atmosphere you created on launch night was brilliant. So many people stayed behind afterwards saying the same thing… “When’s the next one?”

What a night.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our first ever Polesworth Comedy Club on Saturday night. You were an absolutely brilliant audience from start to finish. Right up for a great night, huge laughs all evening and exactly the kind of atmosphere comedians love performing in.

So many of you came over to us afterwards saying how much you loved having a night like this on your doorstep and that you couldn’t believe a comedy club like this had come to Polesworth. Hearing that honestly meant a lot to us.

Jonny Awsum got the night off to a flying start, Jules O’Brien was superb, Bob Mills showed exactly why he’s one of the best in the business, and Harvey Hawkins did a fantastic job stepping in as MC.

The response to the September show was incredible too. Over a third of the tickets for the next night were snapped up in the room on Saturday, so if you’re thinking of joining us next time, don’t leave it too long.

One of the most brilliantly awkward and recognisable acts in British comedy is coming to your local comedy club, alongside another full line-up of top live comedians.

Tomorrow night’s launch show is now a full house, and the response locally has honestly blown us away. It’s brilliant to see so many people getting behind live comedy in Polesworth before we’ve even opened the doors for the first night.
