Hello everyone,
❗We are still in need of additional chaperones for our upcoming shows on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March. While we have had many parents generously offer their time already, we still require more support and due to child safeguarding and council regulation, without sufficient chaperones, our shows could not go ahead.
🤩Chaperoning offers a unique opportunity to see how the show runs behind the scenes and experience the exciting buzz of backstage life. Being part of the team that helps everything run smoothly is a truly rewarding (if slightly exhausting!) experience, and one that our students rely on greatly.
What does a chaperone do?
🎭Be there to greet your group once they have been signed in to the theatre
🎭Support your small group of children in an age specific group from 3 through to 16 years
🎭Look after your group backstage for the duration of the show
🎭Ensure children are safe, supervised, and entertained
🎭Assist with toilet trips when needed
🎭Help children get into the correct costumes
🎭Escort children to and from the stage for their performances
🙏If you are able to help for any part of the weekend, your support would be hugely appreciated. Evidence of an Enhanced DBS is required. A full chaperone guide and tour of backstage is provided. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you’re able to volunteer or would like more information. Remember that if your child is in one show only (Preschool, Pre-Infant or Infant) you would be required to chaperone the opposite show otherwise you wouldn’t get to see your little one perform!
💖Thank you so much for your continued support — we couldn’t do this without you.
